I'm so sorry her cake was ruined! I'm sure they had a fabulous time anyway!

ps: I've tagged you to share 7 things about yourself! You can check out my 7 things here.

I am also on the weaning bandwagon. So nice to hear from you again.

The cake Abby dived into was cute enough. Sorry about her cake, though.

Looking forward to hearing about your battle with ADHD. I'm on ritalin now...

Good luck with the weaning. I know you feel guilty about Abby not getting the good stuff, but pumping seems soooo stressful to me, and your sanity is definitely an important consideration.

As for baby food - my favorite recipe is mushing whatever was in the chicken soup that I made for Shabbat.

Weaning my daughter was so hard for me. I was the one holding on not her. I loved the closeness that she and I had together when she nursed. I finally cut her off at 13+ months. But I have to say that being able to breastfeed her for that long was one of the accomplishments in my life that I am most proud of. So, I can understand why you don't want it to end.

I don't have any burning questions. You give me enough to chew on just day to day. But I am pausing to think about being crazy enough to want another child under the circumstances! And do you know what? I think you might also be crazy enough to make it work. :D
