Oh Karen, I'm so sorry. I hope you are able to find the time to go to the therapist because you really, truly have so much on your plate right now. I don't know why we all seem to carry a certain amount of shame(?) about needing help sometimes -- it's like we have difficulty giving ourselves permission to feel terrible (even when we have so many reasons to do so) because someone else has it so much worse. We had our son's CPSE meeting yesterday and I left feeling so dejected and so low -- I kept telling myself that things could be so much worse and that we were so lucky if this was the worst thing we dealt with -- but, you know, I still felt really low. I couldn't rationalize it away, you know? Anyway, thinking of you and hoping things start looking up soon.

I can't even imagine how you're consistently juggling multiple situations without seeming to drop any of them. I truly hope you can find a time to meet with this doc and hopefully give yourself a bit of an escape valve.

Oh Karen, all I can say is that I hope you find help. You truly have so much to deal with. Love and light to you girl.

That IS something. And I wouldn't say broken, not in the least. Situational depression is a perfectly logical response to a situation, not a sign of brokenness at all.

I am proud of you.

Ms. C

Cheers to you for reaching out for help. You are amazing!
